Light smokiness, saltiness with hints of sweet liquorice, nougat and dried fruit with figs and dates in the foreground. Long finish.
MATURATION
Islay PX has been matured in quarter casks that previously held Islay whisky and Islay casks originally used to store Pedro Ximenez Sherry. The Islay casks contribute distinctive smoke notes and a subtle saltiness. The PX Sherry casks contribute fruity notes of figs, dates and a long-lasting aftertaste.
