NOSE & PALATE

On the nose, there are notes of dried fruit, with streaks of sweet raisin and red berries. The maturation on chestnuts casks provides the same notes on the palate as on the nose. But to these are added light notes of honey and vanilla, the latter emanating from the initial maturation on bourbon barrels. The taste lingers gently for a while, with a somewhat dry finish from the tannins in the wood. Hovering in the background, a slight smoke adds complexity to this whisky.
