ABOUT
In this bottle we have mixed the contents of three different types of quarter casks (130L): Islay casks, sherry casks and chestnut casks.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE
On the nose, there is a nuanced peatiness, with a pronounced cask character, streaks of vanilla, butterscotch, red apples, tropical fruit, and dry leather.
TASTE
In the flavour, the Islay barrel contributes distinct smoky notes and a subtle saltiness. The sherry and chestnut casks contribute with the fruitiness of red apples, tropical fruit and a dry finish. Light to medium finish with hints of salty liquorice.
