A smooth smokey single malt whisky, aged and matured on chestnut and ex-islay casks.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE
There are flattering peaty notes, accompanied by light straw and herbal, and balanced wood.
TASTE
There is some peatiness, which lingers without becoming overbearing. The herbs from the nose reappear on the palate, together with distinct notes of dried apricots. In the finish, there is a certain saltiness, no doubt because we matured on casks that previously held whisky from Islay.
