ABOUT

A rye whisky that is first matured in new American oak and then finished in maple syrup barrels. The maple syrup barrel contributes deep flavours, burnt notes and balancing sweetness. This challenges the whisky in an exciting new way and shows that other cask types can be used.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE

Robust maltiness with hints of vanilla, honey, butterscotch and red apples.

TASTE

A generous fruity flavour with notes of acacia honey, vanilla and maple syrup sweetness with a light peppery finish.

Apple whisky cooler

6 cl Agitator Lönnsirapsfat Whisky
2 tsp maple syrup
2 dl apple cider
A dash of lemon juice
Ice
Fill a glass with ice cubes. Mix the maple syrup, whisky, apple juice and fresh lemon juice in a shaker. Shake well. Pour over the ice.
